About Rowan Belchers:
CEO Coach l Leadership Pioneer | Business Visionary
Rowan is a leadership practitioner with 30 years of global experience that spans a wide range of sectors. He is an established authority on the CEO position, and a trusted advisor to a progressive tribe of CEOs, helping them build businesses of significance.
Rowan grew up in South Africa. He emigrated to the USA at the age of 18 and returned home in his early thirties. Rowan holds qualifications from Berkeley University and Harvard Business School.
He is based in Cape Town and London and is a proud and loving father to his children, Sam and Emma.

Philosophy:
Rowan believes business should be a force for good and has dedicated his career to the study of progressive business practices.
He founded Lockstep 18 years ago to guide leaders in wiser, more effective ways to build and run their companies. He guides clients toward what he calls transcendence – a higher form – delivering Lockstep’s proprietary Transcend Methodology through its consulting services and masterclasses.
Rowan’s ultimate mission is to see business become society’s leading positive social force, creating wise organisations that drive and shape good citizens. He would like to have his gravestone read: He changed the way people see business.
